Mr. Morito, Marumo Ltd.
He is an adviser on the NPO Hiroshima Aikido Association and a devoted volunteer for the school reunion group. He began his company Viva Ltd. after he suffered sickness brought on by overwork from his very busy life style as a keen businessman. His treatment was based on a healthy diet and he had a full recovery. Since then his passion has been to help other people who suffer from Illness and to help them recover as he did. Viva Ltd. is a natural food production company dedicated to producing healthy food.
He started a retail business first and soon added a wholesale division and then a manufacturing division called Marumo Ltd. including Club Marumore Ltd., Sanyu Commercial Company etc... He has established each business one by one and is dedicated to improving quality and volume. He continues developing and distributing many high-quality food products in Japan. He also travels widely for his business. In 1989 he started handling Rooibos tea from South Africa, Grape seed oil from France, sea salt from Christmas Island Mozuku ( seaweed and its component called Fokoidan) from the Republic of Kiribati, Nino Juice from Tahiti, ants from China etc... He has never stopped his mission to improve health. Now he has joined a project aimed at improving the economy of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Prince Edward Island is the home of "Anne of Green Gables." The government of Prince Edward Island supports this project and hopes this project can be used as an example around the world to promote organic agriculture. This projects aim is to help Prince Edward Island become completely organic in the future.
This project fits with his dreams and policy of "promoting health with high-quality natural food products". It fills the wishes of Viva Ltd. and Marumo Ltd. and also with Mr Morito himself.
