Mr. Satoharu Nakamoto
Born April 16, 1944 (Showa 19 with Japanese era)
Mr. Nakamoto began to learn painting on his own at the age of 13 years old, becoming professional at 20 years of age. He has been painting ever since.
Notable achievements for Mr. Nakamoto include founding “Nan-foo-Kai” (meaning Southern Wind)-a group of painters for which he was chairperson, in 1970. He became a member of Cultural Committee of Gino-wan City in 1981, and is currently a member of Cultural Committee of Yomitan-son.
